High School Open Houses, Tours

Open Houses for Eastbrook High School are held numerous times throughout the school year. As the first step in our enrollment process, a tour of the high school is given which includes an opportunity to speak with School Head and High School Head and tour our campus. Tour participants will receive a folder containing general information about Eastbrook Academy, our High School and an application for admission.

After the tour, if there is an interest in enrolling a student, the next step for the parent/guardian is to complete the required admissions paperwork. Once the paperwork has been received by the Director of Admissions, an assessment of the student is scheduled. The student assessment takes about 4 hours to complete. The areas assessed include language arts, math & memory. Shortly following the assessment the parent/guardian will be notified with the results.

If you are unable to attend one of our pre-scheduled tour times, we will gladly arrange a time, during the school day that works with your schedule. Contact the Director of Admissions to arrange a tour visit or sign up for the next upcoming tour.

Please arrive promptly. The meetings include an orientation and enrollment process overview, a Q & A session and a tour.

Student Assessments / Testing Dates

Student interactions (K4) and assessements (K5-12) have begun for the 2009-2010 school year. If you are scheduling an interaction or assessment for your student, keep in mind the following time requirements:

• K4 - 1st grade: 30 - 45 minutes
• 2nd - 4th grade: 1 - 2 hours
• Middle School: 3 hours
• High School: 4 hours

All K5 through 4th grade assessments are conducted one on one with our Lower School Head. K4 interactions / assessments are scheduled in small groups.

Our next middle school and high school group testing date is TBA . All participants must be pre-registered. Once attendance is confirmed, please plan to arrive by 7:50 am. Contact the admissions office regarding additional details.
