"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Call the school office or Director of Admissions to schedule an appointment. Refer to the 'Visiting EBA' page to see the upcoming parent informational session and open house dates.

The admissions office will begin taking 2012-2013 school applications on November 1, 2011. Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP) applicants must wait until February, 2012 to submit their Choice applications during one of the open application periods.

DEMOGRAPHICS

The representation of our diversity is captured in three areas: socioeconomic, ethnic and geographic.

Socioeconomic

  • Approximately 45% of our student body pays full tuition.
  • Thirty-five to forty percent are enrolled in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.
  • Approximately 14% percent receive other financial aid in the form of reduced tuition.

Ethnic

Our student body represents multiple ethnic groups and many countries of origin. Within our student community are children of many ethnic backgrounds including first generation families from China, Lebanon, Nigeria, Guatemala, Romania, South Korea, Ethopia, Somalia and Mexico. Currently the Academy has about 59.4% minority enrollment.

Geographic

The Academy cultivates a unique mix of urban and suburban students. By establishing a goal of having 33-43% of the students participating in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program, the Academy ensures a substantial city-based student population. Currently, about 50% of students reside in the City of Milwaukee, while the remaining students are drawn from suburban areas.
