Eastbrook Academy is committed to helping children achieve a goal of lifelong learning at all levels and in many environments - including school and home.
Lifelong learning coupled with a rigorous academic curriculum means
that your child will be expected to complete homework at each level.
In addition to time in the classroom to begin homework and study
halls at the middle and high school levels, you can expect your
child has homework every evening.
Lifelong learning includes meeting the challenges that come with growth. Healthy growth may include periods where students require additional help to accomplish their academic goals. At Eastbrook Academy, this help includes:
Study Hall Assistance
Faculty is present during study hall periods at the middle and
high school levels in order to provide direction for good study
habits and general assistance.
Peer-to-Peer Tutoring
Students at the middle school level with academic achievement in
a specific subject area who possess the desire, maturity and relationship
skills are paired with students who are willing to address a challenging
subject area. They meet during study hall to work one-on-one through
homework and practice skills in the subjects needed.
Adult One-to-One Tutoring
Tutoring with an adult before or after school is available for
students who require additional support based upon the student's
grades, evaluation by the faculty with whom the student interacts,
and family request/support.
