Eastbrook Academy Celebrates 10 Years
As we celebrate our tenth anniversary, we give thanks to the Lord
for His amazing grace! The Lord has used our families, faculty,
volunteers and donors to facilitate our growth from 2 classrooms
to a school of over 300 students in grades K4 through 10th grade.
Plans are well underway for the construction of a new gymnasium
and the continuation of our high school. Please contact Eastbrook
Academy's school office if you wish to donate toward the gymnasium
building fund.
Eastbrook Academy's Test Scores Continue to Soar
We are again very pleased with our results from the Iowa Basic
Skills Test that was administered to Academy students in May of
2007. Our school continues to perform incredibly well when compared
to others in the nation. The Academy's school average in the national
school norms is 95%. The credit goes to our school staff, parents
and a challenging academic curriculum

Parent Testimonial
"The teachers are committed Christians. This is exemplified
not only in what they say, but how they act, how they interact with
the students and parents, their commitment to the character education
of the students and how this deeply impacts the students' academic
performance.
Academic excellence is a priority and a reality. What
school doesn't want to say they strive for excellence? We see it
fleshed out in the lives of the kids as they are challenged in the
classroom and in their homework, using creative methods to teach,
yet not making the creativity the goal in teaching, but the means
to an end of learning. Kids are pushed beyond their comfort levels,
and encouraged to meet the challenges head on.
We love the ethnic, racial and cultural diversity of the school.
What a rich learning atmosphere the school is, as kids bring in
their different backgrounds under the banner of the love of Christ."
